After many years of working in the corporate world and recovering from Cancer in 2010, I decided to rethink the priorities of my life. An opportunity came about when my son decided to attend University in the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. I wanted to find a career where I could combine my love of design and creating things with the passion I have with working with people and children. I came up with the idea to open Baby Cuddles a small toy manufacturing studio where I could combine all my talents together and produce quality soft toys in a traditional way.

 

All our staff are based in the quaint missionary village of Kylemore, just outside of Stellenbosch. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with a team of wonderful ladies in the community who are always happy and full of smiles no matter what life throws at them. My life has definitely been made richer from this experience.

Together we create beautifully crafted, handmade soft toys, nursery decor, clothing and blankets for babies, toddlers and the young at heart. Handmade items have an individual character which allows their personality to come alive in every one of our beautiful knitted, crocheted and fabric animals and teddy bears. Its heart warming to see the smile on peoples faces when they receive a gift which is made with love and attention to detail. We hope you will enjoy hours of love and cuddles with these little friends that will bring many smiles to so many faces.
